For Your Travels You Need A Charles Schwab Checking Account

For whatever reason, I thought ATM fees were itemized in the transaction history online. When I saw it wasn’t online, I messaged the Charles Schwab customer service team about the fees that were assessed while I was away:

Thank you for your message. Great question! Many of our clients wonder the same thing about ATM fee rebates.

There is nothing that you need to do in order for the ATM fees to be rebated. Schwab automatically tracks your fees and rebates them on the last business day of the month. I am currently showing $6.55 is set to be rebated at the end of this month.

Hope this helps! If you have additional questions, please feel free to reply to this email.

Having free ATM access without a fee of any kind is a must have for any international traveler. You never have to worry about which bank or ATM company to use. It’s also handy domestically as well for the same reasons.

  • Great timing. I actually opened an account last week and it does not appear Charles Schwab did a hard inquiry.

    • Can you double check? In the past it’s been a hard inquiry with Equifax. You can also get a $100 bonus if an existing customer refers you (person referring gets nothing). Thanks!
