This quarter with my two cards that have rotating quarterly cards are the Chase Freedom and Discover card. Discover is only gas purchases are eligible for 5% cash back, while the Freedom are 5x on Kohl’s, Amusement Parks, and gas.
The quarter can be quite ripe for manufactured spend if you can find a 7 Eleven that will allow you to buy reload packs with credit. In addition, Discover categorizes 7 Eleven as gas as well.
Earning points this quarter can be a haul. Q3 is definitely better than Q2 because the gift cards that could be churned from the home improvement stores were not great.
Hmm. Gotta disagree on this one. Went to 5 7-elven stores, none of them will take CC for reload cards. I quit trying.
I was like you as well, I went to many 7 Eleven stores, but found the one store that accepts credit cards.
Same with Rite Aid and MoneyPak’s. I wouldn’t give up, yet.
