I’ve been on a mission lately to figure out the best places to get cash back from a pin pad purchase in NY metro area. Since I use a Visa Buxx card, I am trying to find the cheapest method of draining out the cards with the lowest amount of fees.
Has cash back:
- Gristede’s – $25 max
- Kmart – $50 max
- Wholefoods – $100 max
- Walmart – $100 max
- A&P – $50 max
- CVS – [max unknown]
- Post Office – $50 max (does not work with any Visa Buxx card I tried, so this is good for those that use a regular debit card)
- Walgreen’s – $20 max
- Rite Aid – $100 max
Does not offer cash back:
- Duane Reade
