Before I retired from gift card churning, I really enjoyed receiving paper credit card statements. Barclay’s credit card statements came on letter sized statements. They also provided return envelopes of the same size. This presented an opportunity for a free envelope to mail the gift cards. For every credit card, I would always elect a paper statement, unless it was like Citi’s offer with the Forward card. Upon the instant approval, they stated that if you sign up for paperless, every month they would credit you 100 Thank You points.
It pays to receive paper statements because I just received two emails, one each from Barclay’s and US Bank where I could earn extra points for going paperless.
I just earned an easy and quick 500 miles or points in each program.
