I spoke to someone else last Friday and she told me due to hurricane Sandy shipments were late and were expected to arrive this past Monday. There were reports that they were pulled from shelves as reported on other blogs.
So I called Office Depot regarding the Vanilla Reloads and it is confirmed that it is discontinued at Office Depot. This leads me to believe that something transpired over the weekend causing the sudden nationwide shift.
While I was on the phone with Office Depot, I asked if there would be a comparable product to replace it. He told me it has not been determined yet. I hope it would be MoneyPak’s since they too can refill a Bluebird among other prepaid cards.
My “advice” for those trying to find Vanilla Reloads at Office Depot can be shelved.
