Back in April 2013 and before I retired from churning gift cards, I was churning gift cards from the arbitrage between Raise and Plastic Jungle with TopCashBack. I was earning 2% cashback from the purchase on Raise plus any coupons, then selling on Plastic Jungle for 2.5% back.
One of my purchases with Raise was not properly tracked with TCB and I filed a claim. In early December, I wrote to them following up from my original claim from April. They messaged me back, but I had forgotten about it.
The reason because the order was not tracked was because:
- Clicked through TCB then made order 1
- Saw another deal on Raise and made order 2
- Order 1 was tracked, order 2 was not
Since then, I no longer make more than one order through one click-through to ensure that my cash back will be properly tracked.
When I checked the message, they had a positive outcome in which I accepted.
If you do have a missing cashback claim, be advised it will be a few months before you see a resolution.
