I was first introduced to US Bank’s Visa Buxx from Million Mile Secrets. Its load is limited is to $2000/month. Initial buy fee is $17.50 and each time after to load using your credit card is $2.50. It is best to load $500 each time because the fee would become .5%. Even your 1% rewards credit card your point return would net .5%.
There is also Nationwide Visa Buxx that I will sign up for as well, I haven’t signed up yet because I missed out on a promotional offer for a free $50. I am hoping they will run it again. The limit to that card is $1000/30 rolling days.
Why am I signing up for them? To hit my spend on my Sapphire Preferred Card. After I load up these cards reloadable by credit, I will then use it to my newly enrolled American Express Bluebird and pay my student loans using the billpay.
Because these cards are for a “parent” and “teenager” and they do not check ages, because of that you would need 2 different social security numbers.
