Today is the last day to register with Starwood and earn an extra 500 using a mobile device with a stay by July 31, 2013. Here’s a quick guide that would allow you to register without a mobile device.

Requirements: Google Chrome

Instructions:

• Open Google Chrome
• Right click some where on the background that says Inspect Element

• On the bottom of your Chrome browser a box will appear, and you want to click on the gear icon on the bottom right called “Settings”
• Here, you can change the settings to a mobile device and then you can go to starwoodhotels.mobi to mimic a mobile device booking for an easy 500 SPG points.

This way, when booking on a mobile device you do not need to fear “fat fingering” something and wind up with something you did not plan for.
