Save the Date – The Next #ResellingDO!

The last #ResellingDO, which we held in July, was very positively received, and many have been asking me when the next one will be. Well, I’m not ready to share all the details for it, but, I have narrowed in on a date and location. March 19th, in Baltimore, MD.

The Next #ResellingDO – Details

First off, we’ll still be holding the event in Maryland. I realize this is difficult for West Coast participants, and for that, I apologize, but my goal is to put on the best event possible, and having it in my own backyard allows me to work more contingencies. We’ll be holding it in Baltimore this time, and the venue–which I’m not announcing yet–will be awesome.

We’re going to change the format up a bit. The last one we only had 3 hours worth of presentations. This one, I’m leaning toward a full day event. But fear not, there will be plenty of time to network. I’m still working the agenda – so if there’s a particular topic you’re interested in hearing about, I’d encourage you to share it in the comments.

As we did last time, we’ll have a no-host (unless someone wants to step up, that is) catch-up the Friday night before.

Tickets will go on sale sometime in the next month. I still want to keep this event small, but, the venue may offer an opportunity to go a little bit more than the 35 we had for the first #ResellingDO.

Expect more information to come, but, I realize many folks plan their travel 90 days out or so, and want to make sure everyone has ample notice.

    • @Sweet – Great! I’m not sure whether I’ll be able to get a hotel deal, but, based on the venue, I’d say most of the hotels near the Baltimore Convention Center should be good. I do hope to work some sort of room block with one or two hotels closer in though.

  2. Very likely going to attend! One thing is driving me completely nuts though, and it’s not the unknown venue… why do all of these miles hobby events end in DO? Is that code for something?? I’ve been reselling and mile-collecting for 3 years now and I have yet to figure that one out.

  3. I know last years DO was more based on reselling for points/miles with reselling for profits more of an afterthought. Will that still be the case? It seems you are shifting your focus a little more towards the profits side of things (while still earning plenty of points and miles!) and wondering if that will shift the focus of this event this year as well.
