I’ve been meaning to write about Dosh for a while now but an email this morning finally made me put fingers to keyboard. Until September 24 Dosh is offering double cash back on their already good cash back rates.
That’s Great! What’s Dosh?
Before I go any further I need to tell you about Dosh. You’re probably familiar with cash back portals and may even be familiar with cash back apps. If you’re not, let’s start there.
I use Ebates or Top Cash Back when I shop online as they give me cash back for stuff I’m already buying anyway. Dosh does the same, but with a twist: it specializes on local establishments, especially restaurants.
Even better, Dosh stacks with other dining programs such as Aadvantage Dining and Mileage Plus Dining. You can earn both cash back and airline miles on the same meal. Dosh works the same way as the dining programs in that it’s connected to a credit card. You don’t have to anything once you’ve installed and connected a card to the app. To earn on multiple programs make sure you’re using the same credit card on both.
I use Dosh at least weekly- lately we’ve been enjoying more Dickey’s BBQ than usual as we get 10% back. With 20% back we’ll definitely be having ribs this weekend. If I go on Sunday kids eat free. I can also stack a Chuck E. Cheese Amex offer with Dosh cash back- I’ll probably pick up a gift card to use on a school day off.
