Kohl’s My Account – Kohl’s Cash and Yes2You Rewards

October 16, 2014 By Trevor 15 Comments

kohls

There’s another Kohl’s 30% off started yesterday (I know, I know!) – The code is TRICK30.

Ok, with that out of the way, here’s some interesting stuff I noticed — this may be another one of those things that have existed forever, but I just noticed it now, and I haven’t seen anyone else write about it, so I’m going to!

What’s the news?

Recently Kohl’s “My Account” has become more and more useful. As I placed one of (more than) a few orders this evening, I happened to notice that the view provides information on Kohl’s Cash outstanding. See below:

Kohl's Account - My Kohl's Cash.

Kohl’s Account – My Kohl’s Cash.

Don’t worry – I just used that Kohl’s Cash. That said – I find it a whole lot easier to track your Kohl’s Cash via Kohl’s My Account, vs. targeted searches in your e-mail (even with gmail’s great searches). I’m not sure how long this has been around, but, its pretty useful I think!

But wait, there’s more!

As The Deal Mommy reported, Yes2You went nationwide a few short weeks ago. I haven’t played around with it much, quite simply, because I only play the promotions. But with the latest promotion I have tested it out, and it is not real time. I’ve got a bit of a confusing account statement at the time so I won’t share a photo, but it looks like there’s at least a few days’ lag time.

Wrapping up

Regardless, there is exciting news out of Kohl’s! That said, perhaps the most exciting news is that another Kohl’s 30% off coupon (with Kohl’s charge) is out, stacked with Yes2You Rewards and $10 Kohls Cash per $50 spend! If only there were a great portal bonus! Right now, the best you can get is upromise or ShopDiscover, but if you haven’t exhausted your spend $500, get 2,000 American Advantage miles, well, here’s your chance! And don’t forget to use your Chase Freedom (insert lame lack of link), or Discover IT (there actually is a link for this one on our Credit Card page, but I won’t include it in this post) cards to get 5x or 5% cash back!

I have never had so much trouble with any store when it comes to rewards. I was suppose to receive $75.00 reward on my phone purchase; and have talked to 5 different people and I will NOT be receiving them because for some reason they will not come through my e-mail. They can not send them snell mail or a gift card. That’s it just out $75.00 on customer service here!!!!

@Sandi – usually Kohls Yes2You Rewards show up in your Kohls My Account, they shouldn’t require any e-mailing. I haven’t had much experience with Kohl’s customer service, but it sounds like you have certainly tried a whole lot, but perhaps they are able to provide you the reward directly in your account?

I have a question. I purchased a few things at my local Kohl’s last night, 3/30/2016 and I forgot to give the cashier my rewards card. The cashier never asked me if I had one either, but is there a way I can still get my rewards for the items I purchased?
    Thank You!!

@Tammy – I’ve reached out to a couple of friends, and unfortunately none of us have tried it. I’d definitely give a shot going back in, with your receipt and rewards card and ask customer service if they can help. I see no reason why they wouldn’t be able to.

I have trouble with Kohl’s rewards. I have not received any points in a long time. I have receipts showing that I have spent the amount needs to be receive for my rewards.

I have not seen any of my points from my rewards. I have the receipts and they don’t show where my purchase has been added to my account.

I printed out my Kohl’s cash from an email and my printer blurred the bar code. Didn’t notice it until I was ready to use it. Can it be resent?

Well I have tried to down load the yes rewards.maybe I can find the rewards easier so I can use them before they expire!? Rather difficult system to retrieve the rewards I must say,not as savvy on my phone I guess,I’ll keep trying, but after reading all these problems why cant they be sent thru email, esp if I don’t have a printer handy!Maybe a certificate sent in mail?I don’t seem to be getting my percent off rewards either!

You have got the “DUMBEST”….”mykohlscharge.kohls.com” system…seems like every time I try to get in…you do not recognize either my user name or my password…then when I try to get a new password you send the information to an old email that is out of business, as it was taken over by WOW…please send it to my valid email address …..gabillh@aol.com so that I can receive the new code that will allow me to once again “change my Password”..I am truely about to dump KOHLS…thats how frustrating it is….thanks

I cannot understand why our company is so bad at giving rewards to its customers. I cannot get on my account without taking an hour or more out of my day to get on. Plus I have not been able to receive any of my yes rewards since I have been with Kohls approx 6 years. I like to shop in person at kohl’s, but shopping on line or getting my rewards or account is almost impossible.
