Editors Note: This is a slow week, not because there hasn’t been much news or blog posts, but rather because I’ve taken the time to focus on family. Sorry for the short post this week, but I truly hope you have had the chance to spend time with your loved ones, and maybe, just maybe, share this love of miles and points with them, so they too can see the world. Happy Belated Thanksgiving!
The Weekly News Roundup is a collection of headlines from around the internet that caught the attention of the Tagging Miles team. Travel:
- Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI) unveils an expansion, as it continues to grow its international capability, mostly thanks to Southwest.
- While Lucky is known for his premium cabin trip reports, this is not one of them. In fact, it is from a reader, John Spear, and is quite illustrative of Oman Air First Class. Even more so, it is nearly as funny as the best complaint letter as received by Sir Richard Branson
Miles and Points:
- If you’re booking an Anytime International Business class award on American between now and early January, beware, there is a bug that could put you in economy for your domestic segments. Not that it would be the end of the world, but it stings just that much more when you’re paying anytime prices as much as 175k one way!
- Ed, the avid writer of Pizza in Motion (and trust me, it seems like he’s perpetual motion), writes about how people are doing good, and how you can do good as well!
Tagging Miles:
- How Can I Help?
- Launching a new generation of weather information #GOES-R
- Tons of Opportunity, and a Chance to do Good
