Delta Airlines has a new advertisement out, entitled “Why We Go”, with a voice over by Donald Sutherland (although I still keep thinking “Hunger Games” when I hear his voice, although that would be more apt for Etihad).
The premise of the commercial highlights how amazing air travel is. It is–their words–extraordinary. Ed mentioned in his 3 idle thoughts today, how lucky we are to be able to step on a plane and be halfway around the world in hours. Not days. Not weeks. Hours. And he’s right. We are very lucky.
