I just noticed this one. It’s outside the realm of my experience but potentially valuable, so I thought I’d throw it out there for discussion.
The card in question is the CitizensBank Accelerator Rewards Platinum MasterCard, which offers 10% back on gas purchases for the first 90 days. The marketing verbiage is pretty specific about gasoline purchases only, but the T&Cs say that awards are based on merchant category code. I’m pretty sure I remember reading that Citizens only offers cards to customers in its footprint, but I can’t find anything on that topic on the website.
Anybody have any experience with this bank or opinions on the offer?
