COMING SOON: The Club Carlson Visa is launching on December 1! Thanks to Loyalty Traveler for bringing this to our attention. Credit card geeks finally have a new product to talk about, as the website is now up. The Club Carlson Visa will be issued by U.S. Bank, and there will be three varieties: Rewards Visa Signature, Premier Rewards Visa Signature, and Business Rewards Visa.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with Club Carlson, their brands include Radisson, Country Inn & Suites, Park Plaza, and Park Inn. We became more familiar with them during their very generous “Big Night Giveaway” promotion a few months ago that netted 300,000 Club Carlson points for our family.

There’s not a whole lot of news besides that. If you’re planning on a new credit card, it might be worth it to wait for a few days to see if the bonus or rewards are worthwhile. One positive aspect of this card is that it is not issued by Chase, which controls a lot of the hotel credit cards, so those of you inclined to do so can diversify your credit card portfolio.
