There’s a nice passive credit card reward opportunity now through December 31st, and it stacks with all other offers. The Fuel Rewards network is currently offering 5 cents per gallon gas discount at a variety of stores, including:

• Electronics retailers
• Toy stores
• Sporting goods
• Sears and Kmart (Eddie Lampert does not miss out on discounting opportunities.)

Additionally, you can earn an extra 3 cents per gallon at grocery stores. The maximum discount is on 20 gallons of gas, so the deal maxes out at $1 of free gas for every $100 spent. Note that this is for in-store purchases, so rewards are in addition to whatever else you’re getting. So why settle for a mere 25X as per Frequent Miler when you could be getting 26X?

And keep in mind that’s for in-store–if you want to use the FR portal, you can get $6 in free gas per $100 spent through 12/31, though of course you’d sacrifice other portal bonuses for that.
