Just got back from Best Buy–they said they’re only selling 5 of my particular item per customer per day. Has anybody else run into this? I’m wondering if this is a local thing or a corporate thing.
Incidentally, this was my second Best Buy–the first one was sold out.
UPDATE: Went to Best Buy #3 and there were no issues whatsoever. Apparently the restriction at Best Buy #2 was for that store only.
Making a second run by best buy today. Purchased 3 of the items I believe you are mentioning in separate transactions to maximize shopkick and the 5x points posted as well. Making a second trip in the next 30 minutes and will report back success or failure for my purchases.
The most they’d let me buy is 10. I did this at 3 different stores and they each told me that was the limit. Hoping to get a Mac Mini after all this is over. 🙂
I run into the limit all the time all my store. Unfortunately it’s the only store that is stocked. I took some to another store yesterday. They hadn’t been stocked in over a year. Every time I buy at the other store the clerks ask me where I found them, grin. Not sure how much longer I will be able to press my luck there. They quoted the same limit (max 5 of any quantity). Today I brought family with me. Would have been nice to unload more of my AMEX GC haul over Christmas.
