As you may have heard, Amazon is increasing the price of its Prime membership from $79 to $99. There’s a sort-of-competing service called Shoprunner that gets you free two-day shipping at a number of stores. (Click here for a list of eligible stores.)
Shoprunner–and I just love quick-response marketing like this–is currently offering a full year of free membership (normally $79) to Amazon Prime members. You’ll have to email them proof of your Prime membership.
So that’s one way to free Shoprunner. The other is by having an eligible Amex card. Click here and input your Amex credit card number to see if it qualifies you for membership. My Fidelity card does not qualify, but based on what I’ve read in Flyertalk it looks like a lot of the Amex-issed cards do qualify.
