The Deal Mommy

BLAZING HOT! Get up to 60 Free $10-$500 Victoria’s Secret Reward Cards!

A couple of weeks ago I mentioned a deal where you spend $13 to get 2 $10 reward cards. Now they’re simply giving them away! Just email promotions@eprizefulfillment.com to request your free code. One request per each email, send up to 60! Details here.

You can spend one per order, or in store per day. If you want to find out the value, just put something in your cart online and use the card to check out. The value will deduct at checkout before you complete the actual transation.

Lifting from my comment replies: The terms read to me as “60 codes total, one per email” meaning email MESSAGE, not ADDRESS since “address” is not specified. I’ve sent more than 10 from one email address and gotten more than 10 “you’ll get your codes in 3 days” response.

Eprize is reputable and manages most sweepstakes for large accounts. The secret rewards code is also a sweepstakes entry, which by law must be free. This is a more “corporate didn’t think it through” than a scam.

so other then creating 60 emails for this, waht do you suggest for getting the deal 60 times? i know with gmail you can move the period, but can you do that on outgoing mail somehow?

    1. thedealmommy Post author

Reading the terms carefully, I read “one per email, up to 60” as one per each actual email, not each email address. I’ve sent more than one and gotten a “you’ll have a code in 3 days” reply.

Eprize is reputable and handles most sweeps for large corporations, so I don’t think so. The secret rewards card are attached to a sweeps entry that by law must be free. It’s more of a “didn’t think this through” from corporate.

      Hi Max,
I’ve actually left the body blank or just said “Thanks”. In subject line I’ve been putting “Victoria’s Secret Reward Code request”.

  3. DaninMCI

You should be able to use the CC and BCC function from your email for this I would think to generate multiple emails. Might effect the code return emails though.

This is what they’re sending now:

    Hello,

Thank you for your email. This has been an overwhelmingly popular promotion and the total number of Secret Reward Card Codes we promised to make available (over 14 Million!) has already been reached. Our customers are our #1 priority, so we are releasing additional bonus Codes. Supply of these bonus Codes is very limited so please act fast to redeem yours.

In order to receive a Secret Reward Card Code without making a purchase, please send us a new email to promotions@eprizefulfillment.com (do not reply to this email) and include your first name, last name, address, date of birth and day and evening phone numbers to complete your entry. Once we receive your reply email, we will send out your Victoria’s Secret Reward Card Code, while supplies last.

In order to maintain the integrity of and proper functioning of the promotion we may verify your request before it can be fulfilled, and ask to see your photo ID for validation at purchase. The limits as stated in the Official Rules will be strictly applied in order to try and accommodate as many requests as possible.

And remember, only one Secret Reward Card per customer, per purchase transaction may be applied. Other limits apply. See Offer Details at https://www.victoriassecret.com/secret-reward for more.

Totally worked! After the autoresponse “send your name, address, dob, etc etc to this email” I sent 28 responses in gmail (just clicked reply to each one and send) a few days ago. Got 28 codes by email. Checked the codes on the website, even got one $50 code! Took my girlfriend to Victoria’s Secret for a bit of a shopping spree. She got a bunch of panties, which we coded as a separate transaction for each (god bless the cashier) and showed up either as free or $1.06 a pair. Got some hot athletic shorts and another pair of panties for the $50 code. Ended up spending maybe $8 for ~$200 of merchandise, not bad at all! We didn’t even go through a lot of the codes, but it was fun!

      1. Chucks

Haha, another 20-something codes came through and ANOTHER code was for $50! My girlfriend is looking good in some hotshorts and enough underwear to last for years. She’s auctioning off the rest of the codes on ebay for a couple bucks a piece. Thanks a bunch for this offer!

  7. SleepyT

I never received that auto-response requesting additional information.
    And now auto-response is –
Thank you for your email regarding Victoria’s Secret Rewards. The email entry period has expired so you will not be receiving a free code for this email.
Please note this email address is not monitored for customer service questions.

    1. thedealmommy Post author

You didn’t have to receive the auto response requesting addl info…it was added towards the end. If you got the 1st one, you’re good. Hang tight!

      1. SleepyT

Maybe this was like a lottery system. I never received the codes after the auto responses, and it’s now December 19th! 🙁

  8. Daniel

I got the first email saying ‘we will respond with your code within 5 business days’, but I never got a single response. Is there a contact anywhere?

    Email body (from 11/26):

    Hello,

Thank you for your email. Your entry was received and we will send out your Victoria’s Secret Reward Card Code via email in about 5 business days. We will do our best to get the code to you as soon as possible. There is a maximum of 60 codes per person during the promotion period.

Please note this email address is not monitored for customer service questions.

    1. thedealmommy Post author

      Hi Daniel,
I contacted VS customer service via email and was told they would come in time to redeem. Frankly if they don’t, VS will have a slew of FTC complaints to deal with!

      1. DaninMCI

The rules say the cards must be redeemed by December 19th. That’s making it really tight on redeeming these if they don’t arrive soon. I would imagine they will either be sold out or will be limiting availability of the $10 type items as well. They may be tempted to cheat on his, not honor the email requests or whatever, seems that they could be at risk for legal action and hurt customer image as well.

        1. thedealmommy Post author

Not really…There are a ton of items on the website that come out to pennies even including delivery. Check out the $4 body sprays and the $3.99 underwear. I think taking a deep breath is on order.

And yes, if they don’t honor, FTC has a real job to do.

  9. DaninMCI

So here is the latest response I’ve gotten from the promo company on this:

    Good Afternoon,

Thank you for reaching out to The Secret Rewards Sweepstakes. We sincerely apologize, but due to the overwhelming demand we are out of codes. I apologize for any disappointment this may cause.

    Sincerely,
    Customer Service

    HELLOWORLD.com
[You used to know us as ePrize.]
One ePrize Drive, Pleasant Ridge, MI 48069

I asked them how they plan to honor the value but haven’t heard back yet.

    1. thedealmommy Post author

To which email address did you send this? It looks a lot like the email sent when folks requested codes after they were indeed out.

  10. Kevin

So how do we follow up on this. I sent 15 emails within an hour of your original blog post and received 15 confirmation emails back and then nothing else. Pretty disappointed as I put off purchasing an actual gift for my wife waiting to receive a code.

    1. thedealmommy Post author

Well, you can’t do anything until the 19th, when the promo ends. After then, complain to Victoria’s Secret customer service directly. If you don’t like what they say, go to the FTC.

(BTW, you can’t spend more than one per transaction…just wanted to make sure you saw this as $10 gets you a single pair of underwear or a lip gloss/small body spray in-store).

      1. Kevin

Thanks for the response. I will send a message after the 19th. I did know you can only use one per transaction however a couple of the items I was getting I was hoping to pair with other sales that they seem to regularly have on their merchandise.

        1. thedealmommy Post author

I’d also keep an eye on this thread and my twitter feed as folks are posting when they get codes and the results. (And if/when you do get a slew of $10s, you might be better off doing $4 items online in clearance than $10 in store as I was in the stores yesterday and saw absolutely NO clearance. Thinking they pulled it till after Xmas. Good luck!

          1. DaninMCI

Off course they pulled all the clearance. They know there are a ton of these cards out there and it’s Christmas peak shopping season.

  11. DaninMCI

Helloworld finally sent me what they said is “the last 7 cards” which is a lie of course. The outright refuse to honor the other 53 entries I have and just state that VS reserves the right to change, cancel, etc. I will file an FTC complaint on this soon. They made the rules I just followed them.

    1. thedealmommy Post author

Be sure to keep me posted. They are getting a flurry of complaints! (BTW, if you want something cheap online, the underwear for $3.99 and the body lotions for $4 come out to be tax only).

      1. DaninMCI

The best deal is in the store. They have all panties for 50% off so many are like $11 to $14 so you buy two per purchase and pay about $2.

  12. DaninMCI

I filed an FTC compliant against Helloworld and VS on this today. I’ll try to keep you posted on what happens. It’s easy to file the complaint at the FTC website online btw.

  13. Chrissy P

Wow… I found this when I Googled how to check the value of my current VS reward card. This really pisses me off that there WAS, in fact, a way to request a free code. I knew that I had read that among the rules and regulations, but the system that VS referenced using was not working. I eventually called customer service to request my reward code, but they told me they were not doing that… in any way. They said there was some sort of request that could be made for Canadian customers (?? yeah.. IDK..), but that they weren’t doing any free reward codes at all in the U.S. I thought that was BS based on what I had read, and thought it was false advertisement. But now it turns out that the associates just had no clue what they were talking about. UGH!! Yet another disappointment with VS. They’re really starting to rack up in recent years! 🙁

  14. Sam

I did the promotion last year and received 60 reward codes. So did my friend, boyfriend, mom, and dad. This was actually legitimate and it made my season. Please tell me you will be doing this again this year !
