Reason for Choosing

We had an overnight in Dublin on our way home from the Seychelles in November 2013, and wanted to visit the Guinness brewery. At a 20 minute walk Hilton Dublin Kilmainham was very reasonable.

Lobby and Check-in/Check-out Experience

This trip was mostly Hilton properties and this one did a nice job at check-in to make sure that we were all set.  They gave us the directions to the Guinness brewery and were able to have a small breakfast ready for us the next morning as we had a very early flight.

Check out was easy and they had breakfast with to go boxes that we were able to take to the airport.

Where the hotel stood out

It was a small room but more than sufficient given the short amount of time that we were there.

The lobby bar was a busy and the prices were a bit on the steep side, needless to say, we skipped it.

Wrapping Up

The hotel felt like a great location for a 20 or so minute walk to the Guinness Storehouse.
