Just a few odds and ends today on the Shopping Portal front.

It’s Raining AAdvantage Miles

I’m probably a bit late to the punch here, but from 3/30/15 to 4/29/15, you can earn up to 2,250 bonus miles, after $700 spent. That’s not bad given some of the deals we’ve seen lately, as much as 6x at Macy’s, for example (ok, maybe bad example).

United Improves it’s Shopping Portal

United made a nice enhancement to their MileagePlus Shopping Portal – They’ve added a “Recent Store Visits” Tab.

The real benefit is that you can go to this tab is that if you go to a store often, you can just view the current offers directly from there. As you can see, I’m not a power user of the United MileagePlus Shopping Portal, but, I’m sure I could be convinced if they were to offer 35x on Staples, Sears, or another useful place… Because that’s about what would be needed to earn enough United Miles to fly on a partner airline again!
