We have traveled in Europe the last 2 summers, and have been very happy with the combination of Arrival Plus card for CC transactions and the Fidelity debit card for ATM withdrawals. In addition to the no foreign transaction fees, the Arrival card also has the advantage of chip and pin. Several times, we have used the Arrival cards to purchase train or metro tickets from automated machines when are travelling companions could not get their credit card to work on the machines. We just bought their tickets as well and they paid us back, which is fine because that just earns more points.

I can also confirm that we have never paid any fees for ATM withdrawals using the Fidelity card. The Schwab card also sounds excellent, but they do a hard pull on your credit to open the account, and as someone who signs up for lots of credit card bonuses, I'm careful about my credit pulls.

Thanks for this. Timing is great. We recently got the Arrival Plus but have yet to open an account for a debit card for ATM withdrawals. Our trip is in Sept. Now to research Fidelity for MO deposits. :p

I'm glad the timing worked well. I love the comment regarding Fidelity and money orders. You're a step ahead of me there, but I also will be looking into that after yesterday's big news.

Travel bloggers can indeed earn good cash, as far as I know. However, if you’re not a public person and prefer to keep your life private, exploring programming is a fantastic idea. It allows you to work behind the scenes while still engaging in a rewarding and potentially lucrative career. I’ve been diving into resources like https://www.corelangs.org/css/, where I’ve learned a lot of the basics and so much more. The website covers essential topics in CSS, which is crucial for web development, helping me understand how to style websites effectively. It’s amazing how much I’ve gained from just a few tutorials, and I appreciate the clarity of the explanations. As I continue to build my skills, I’m excited about the opportunities that programming can offer. It provides flexibility and the chance to work on interesting projects without having to share every detail of my life publicly. Have you considered any specific programming languages or areas you’d like to focus on?
