- 20,000 AA miles each (using AA's Off Peak Chart for Europe in the winter) on partner Air Tahiti Nui
- Total taxes/fees = $5.60 each

I had one that involved Europe and Dubai interlacing two tickets and perhaps 3 vacations that are all a blur now.. what springs to mind:

NY>IST 9 hrs to hit the town saw the Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar etc, had some kebab.. showered up at the lounge, headed on..
IST>MLE 4 nights here at the Conrad Rangali 145K
4 nights in Sri Lanka
CMB>NRT 4 nights here at the Conrad Tokyo 145K
NRT>NY Biz

Total 100K UA and 145K HH PP.

This one is gone (RIP) but my favorite was 90K each for two for business class around the world with US Airways. ORD-IST (stopover for several week trip in Turkey, then IST-NRT for trip to Japan and then NRT-ORD on one ticket. Flew Lufthansa, Turkish and ANA.
