There is a new promotion today for Atlanta residents. You can get the Companion Pass with just three round trip flights from Atlanta. Good for the rest of 2015 after qualifying. This is like a decent deal...seriously, could you buy the 3 cheapest round trips out of ATL and then have CP for the rest of the year?

This is pretty sweet deal. I wonder if anyone will MR for this. I can see people living in Atlanta doing it, MR or not. But, even for people who do not live in Atlanta, this can work. I did a sample on March 12th. All of them are nonstop. I tried Charleston, SC as it is the nearest one. But, I could not come up with a good example with it for non-stop and low cost. But, if someone is serious about it, they can play with dates and minimize travel time by using Charleston.

ATL - MDW 8:15 - 9:10 AM $80
MDW - ATL 10:15 - 1:00 PM $80

ATL - MDW 1:40 - 2:40 PM $80
MDW - ATL 3:25 - 6:15 PM $124

ATL - MDW 6:40 - 7:35 PM $124
MDW - ATL 9:30 - 12:15 AM $80

Total cost ~$600 with a couple of close connections & one day Worth it? That depends on how often someone travels on WN without the CP.

3028 - 6 AM / 6:55 AM
3039 - 10:15 AM / 1 PM

695 - 1:40 PM / 2:40 PM
583 - 3:25 PM / 6:15 PM

727 - 6:40PM / 7:35 PM
2791 9:30 PM / 12:15 AM (next day)


All $80 flights, total of $480 and a tight connection between 583 and 727, but one day in March could net you companion pass for ~ 9 months.

Plus her claim of $270 seems practically wrong as you need all 6 segments to be available at $46 on the same day. I have not seen a day where that is available, but admittedly I did not check every single day between tomorrow and May 17th.
