This news is a couple weeks old, but Hyatt is matching rewards status with competitors. You have to email them at goldpassport@hyatt.com with a screenshot of your current rewards status and proof that you've stayed at the hotel within the past 12 months. I sent them info on my Hilton Hhonors Gold status after about a ten day wait, they emailed me back yesterday saying that it was approved as the equivalent: Hyatt Platinum. Expiration is Feb 2017. It's a great deal, especially if you can get matched to Diamond status!
