amex CLI transfer

I have an old blue cash everyday and I'd like to transfer limit from that card to my blue 5% card. I have separate logins for both cards so that I can easily add amex offers to both cards.

I have read that you can do that online but can't seem to find it. I'd prefer to do this in an automated system and not have a human being look at my account.

I went to profile -> manage credit limit, but the only four options are
1. increase limit.
2. check balance transfer status
3. check spending ability
4. recently declined charges

Any insights?

You have to combine the two logins. I believe you must call in and they will manually add the new account to the old account. Then you'll be able to move credit lines around. Keep in mind that the account must be 12 months old and you have to leave at least $500 dollars to the old account.

I eventually got this done with online chat.. I left 1k on my blue cash everyday. I will probably keep that card for a long time as it is useful for amex sync promos and has no AF
