There was a deal earlier this year for trips to Paris for about $1700 but I missed out on it. Strolling the boards yesterday I came across a deal on flyertalk. Right now you can get several business class fares on BA for $1500-$1700 rt. There are several West cost origination's to ZUR/VIE/MAD. The only catch is you have to sign up for AARP ($16/yr). Then you can go through the AARP BA link to get $400 off Business fares. Travel between now and March 2016.
I was able to snag two tickets for the wife and I from DFW-ZUR for March2016 for $17xx.00/pp
