10K bonus for adding Authorized user on Bus Plat

Hi, thought I would post what I found recently. I called to add an authorized user to my Bus Platinum card(needed it for another Global Entry app :) I actually was genuinely surprised at the annual fee for this as I hadn't done my research ahead of time and assumed it was the same as for a personal card. The representative offered me 10K in MR for the additional user. It posted right away.

Was that a standard offer, or was that due to your surprise and as a result they awarded you free 10,000 goodwill points?

If you got 1, you may as well get 3, I think it is $175 for up to 3 additional users. If I am wrong, sorry for misinformation.
