    Stopver on Singapore airlines roundtrip award

    I booked an award ticket from BOS-SFO-KOA-HNL-BOS with the SFO being the stopover. My understanding was you are allowed one stopover on a roundtrip award ticket, however I was $100 since they mentioned the stopover is more than 4 hours. Is this valid?
