driving

Ill be leaving for Bali for the week tomorrow and will be renting a scooter/motorcycle in Ubud for the entire stay. Any tips or advice on driving in Bali? Peoples blogs make it seem like a death sentence but I have found most of that information is exaggerated. Thanks!
