High-speed 4g LTE for free in Europe with TMo

In the United states, you can get free talk, text and LTE on the Sprint network.
There is a MVNO called RingPlus that provides the service. The catch: You listen to advertisements instead of ringtone when you dial an external number. Other than that, the service is absolutely free.

I haven't made the switch yet, but Google fi looks pretty good for this too, and certainly an attractive pricing structure - unlimited talk/text, $10 per GB anywhere in the 120 countries where it's supported:

Code:

Only downside right now is that you have to have an Android Nexus phone - right now that's a Nexus 6, 5X, or 6P, although another set of Nexus phones are due out before the end of the year.

Yeah, I saw that Fi changed their cap rules yesterday which is a good thing. I've still had more consistency with T-Mo, but we have a couple of Fi phones and look forward to trying them out.

Fwiw, I tried my Fi Sim on an unlocked Verizon LG G4 and could send/receive calls and data.

Probably requires a Nexus to activate the sim though.

Google Fi can be used on the iPhone 6s as well now, it's been "hacked". There are instructions online on how to complete the transfer. I just bought the sim and plan on completing the transfer to my 6s this week or next.

Great! We are going to Iceland in august and it's included in the 4g LTE list. TMo has been great for having basic internet in a few countries in South America, but it was painfully slow.
