Do you have frequent flyer miles that you’d like to use but find yourself without the time to find flights? Or are you having difficulty finding the flights you want? Then let asthejoeflies help! I’ve helped people save hundreds of dollars and thousands of miles on their honeymoons, bachelor parties, and family vacations. I have a wealth of experience searching for and securing award flights, so let me expend all the time and effort so you can relax and enjoy yourself. Not only will this make things easier for you, but due to my understanding of airline award ticket rules, I can save you money on taxes and fees AND give you more for your dollar. Not sure if you can have an extra stopover or open jaw? Let me handle that for you.
Pricing
My Award Booking Service prices are $95 for the first person on the award ticket and $25 for any other people on the same itinerary up to a total of six people per itinerary.
Family Travel Bookings (new!): Any domestic, mainland USA coach bookings for a family of 3 or more will be priced at $125 for first three people and $25 for each additional person.
Why asthejoeflies over other services?
I started my award booking service because searching for award space is a hobby I enjoy and I enjoy helping people get to their destinations. Unlike other award booking services (who, incidentally, charge more), it’s just me here – I guarantee that I will personally work on your award. As such I don’t take on a ton of clients, I can guarantee that your booking will have my utmost attention.
How can I hire you?
Please feel free to contact me at asthejoeflies@gmail.com if you’re interested in a free consultation. I’ll be happy to go over how my services can save you time, money, and miles. If I can’t help you you won’t pay a cent. Please include the following details in your e-mail so I can better address your needs:
– The number in your party
– The number of miles/points you plan to use and the program they are in. If multiple programs are an option, please indicate that and include the relevant information
– Desired destination and dates, including any flexibility you might have
– Desired cabin of service (economy, business, first)
That’s it! Your dream vacation is just an e-mail away.
Fine print: Payment for services rendered will occur after mutual agreement by both parties. All airline taxes and fees are the responsibility of the client. All award bookings are final – changes that need to be made may incur further charges (at my discretion).
What people are saying about asthejoeflies Award Booking
“Joe did an awesome job booking a complex itinerary for me. I went from spending 175,000 Delta Miles to get to Southeast Asia in Economy to 120,000 miles to get there in Business. I highly recommend him!”
“I love to get a deal, and I knew there was a great trip to be had with our Delta miles…but after a few hours’ research, I was overwhelmed when I realized how many tricks and loopholes there were to booking award travel. Enter Joe, who has deep knowledge of the award travel game and the Delta system. Within hours of my inquiry, he came back with an amazing itinerary that stretched our miles and included more cities that I hadn’t even considered possible on this trip.
Joe saved me so much time and frustration, and he got us incredible value that would’ve taken me days to ferret out (if I could’ve even done so at all). We’re flying from NYC to 3 European cities–in Business class and for half the miles my own pitiful booking attempts had found! Trust me, the award booking service is a good service indeed: Joe was professional, prompt, and helpful, and his excitement over finding a great award ticket is contagious. Looking forward to racking up more miles so he can book our next trip!”
“I could not be more pleased with this award booking service. Joe was incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, and creative. He asked questions to make sure he understood my requirements / preferences and clarify travel factors that I hadn’t even thought to consider. Not only did we have my award booked within 48 hours of initial contact, but Joe also kept me proactively informed of changes that affected my itinerary (such as aircraft changes, etc) and provided recommendations for how to handle these situations. To top it off, he’s a very nice guy to boot. I’m a fairly veteran flier and consider myself moderately informed about award travel, but it was definitely comforting to have the support of a more experienced award expert. I would not hesitate to recommend Joe’s award booking service to friends and family, and I will definitely come back the next time I plan a trip using miles!”
“I’m so proud to be Joe’s wife!”

Hey Joe,
I want to start planning and looking for summer 2015 for family of 3. with the recent AA and USAir shakeup, I dont want to wait that long out to see my Miles go down the drain. I know the award dates havent open up yet but is it possible to “just book it close to travel date” and then change to the actual travel dates later on. I m ok with change fees but at lease I m securing the miles and seats. do you think this is a good plan, let me know your opinion and I ll send over the itineary. I want to use USAir miles
asthejoeflies says
You could do that but it gives you real no advantage, because in order to change later there still needs to be space. I’d be surprised if they change the chart again by August when you’d have to book for the summer. If you’re really paranoid you can though, just remember you have to fly within a year so you should book something for next fall or spring if you’re planning to change it

Hi Joe, its me again. My brain feels like a mad scientist as I try to find all kind of ways to route here and there, ok so my brain is working on another way using USAir miles, as you know theytake away 90k through Eurpope but the Caribean 90k for the same route is still possible. however its hard to stitch together the CUN-Lax and back on the same itineary for 3 people. I m thinking going down to Cun on a separate ticket and come back on a through away route. what do you think, is it feasible ?
choi says
sorry, had a few mispells that didnt make sense, ok so here is the off my head itineary
Cun-lax(or any US cities connecting to Eroupe)-Milan(Stopover)-dbx(layover)-SGN(destination)-hkg-lax-Cun(throwaway route)
like to stitch together using USAir miles 90k(j) and 120k(F)
prefer going to Europe with any European Airlines and return with Cathay pacitic
asthejoeflies says
I’m not sure if that itinerary is possible. You might be able to do something similar through Doha on Qatar airlines, but Dubai isn’t a hub for Qatar. Etihad and Emirates fly to Dubai but neither is Oneworld and you wouldn’t be able to book using US miles.
Also, if you want to stop in LAX after that first leg, that would be illegal as well. If you’re not going to stop in the US then that should be legal, technically.

HI Joe,
How do I use your booking service from LAX to Naples (or Rome if need be) and back from Pisa to LAX?

Joe,
Hello. Just sent you an email requesting your recommendations/suggestions for an Autumn trip for my wife and I from Chicago to Seoul in business. Looking forward to what you are able to determine to be good options.
