Throughout #milemadness I have said that the best way to learn more about how things work is through relationships, and we thought a great way to start new friendships and share ideas would be a gathering. Therefore, we are proud to announce the #milemadness ‘DO’. This is an event to celebrate the March Milemadness event that brought together innovative bloggers from a vast array of backgrounds under the common goal – to become the Champion of Manufactured Spending, or at least to have fun trying. The event will kick off with talks from some of the most well regarded experts in the manufactured spending and travel community, both who have blogs, and who ‘fly under the radar’. We will be keeping this a fairly small affair, so if you are interested in attending and meeting like minded people, I highly recommend that you act fast!

HYATT house Charlotte Center City, 435 East Trade Street, Charlotte, NC 28202

Presentations
Confirmed speakers will include:
- Frequent Miler
- The Miles Professor
- MilesAbound
- Marathon Man
- Matt from Saverocity
We will have a number of other people sharing some of their own insights and ideas either formally via a presentation, or informally during the event. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet the people that are creating the content that you read on a daily basis, and ask the questions that are on your mind. Having met most of the people who are attending from the player side I know that you will enjoy the experience and find it a great place to bounce new ideas around with the people that attend.
Also attending: Michelle from Miles, Points and Maitais; Nick from PFDigest; Freequent FlyerBook blog. Attendance is subject to change, and we hope to have a few more people join the event also.
Lunch
Lunch will be included in the ticket price, and will be served during the first section of the Milemadness Celebration. We will also announce for the first time who the final champion is, as we would have time to confirm which points posted and which ideas didn’t live up to expectations.
After lunch – An Amazing Race!
After the presentations, lunch and awards we are planning to host an Amazing Race style competition, the bloggers and players of MileMadness will join forces with you to build a team style event, details to come soon. Participation is voluntary.
Cocktails and Canapes
After some time to refresh and relax we will reconvene for a Cocktail hour, with Passed Canapés, the first couple of drinks are on us, and then it will become a cash bar if necessary. This will be a wonderful networking opportunity and a chance to share stories from your own experiences. We will also give out a prize for ‘Funniest Story’ from the afternoons Manufactured Spending activities.
Dinner
Dinner plans are open, we will figure that out on the fly with our new friends, and are optional, they aren’t included in the ticket price.
Tickets
Ticket Price $75 Per Person for the day, includes Presentations, Networking opportunities, Lunch and Cocktail hour. Earlybird Special – for those who book before the end of #milemadness at Midnight EST March 31st a discounted price of $65 per person is available. Space is limited. Please note that due to prepaid expenses we will not issue refunds for tickets for cancellations that occur within 7 days of the event. Tickets are transferable.
I hope to see you all at the ‘DO’ and very much look forward to meeting you and talking about ideas and strategies for optimizing manufactured spending, travel and personal finances.
Gary says
Looks like a really great event you’ve put together; any discussion of a West coast ‘DO’ in the near future perhaps?
Matt says
Would love to. Am officially becoming a father about 3 weeks after this one so I may be delayed for the next event, but would be great to go out West in the future.
KennyB says
Would love to be there! Very doubtful though.
Matt says
Make it happen! This is going to be a fabulous event, we are planning to keep it small and intimate and a chance to hang out and chat with some of the best bloggers out there. I hope you can make it.
KennyB says
I can get there Saturday morning, but not home in time Sunday. If you ever do something like this in the middle of the country, I’m in. Just think, everyone could review DFW (or even LAS) Centurion Lounge together!
Matt says
Hope to see you at the next one. LAS sounds a lot more fun than DFW but a centurion lounge will make anywhere wonderful. I hear the have free champagne and massages by naked Tahitian virgins for all (plus 2 guests)
KennyB says
It looks like I am in! As long as nobody minds if my wife and kids (10 and 13, good students of MS) show up around dinner time.
Matt says
Awesome! And that would be great to see the family there
Elaine says
Gosh it sounds great. But CLT sure is far from PDX! Maybe I should start hinting that I know what I want for Mother’s Day….
Elaine says
Just for fun I checked the Hyatt website and it does not appear to recognize the promo code:
It says: “The special offer/rate you have selected is unavailable during the dates you have selected, or it is not offered at this property.”
Mainly I wanted to see if it is a refundable rate. I tried arrival May 9, departure May 11 as well as arrival on May 10 for one night.
Maybe check it out….
Matt says
I’ll check it, I’m sure its a glitch, it you want to come, we will get that working, and it would be great to meet you. (I’m still working on Milenomics and TBB to make it a slam dunk for you)
Elaine says
Hi again – I thought I’d mixed up cities but I rechecked and indeed I did search for the HYATT house Charlotte Center City, 435 East Trade Street, Charlotte, NC 28202.
It is still not working. I prefer to do it online because then I can use my husband’s Arrival and have the cost reimbursed. Will reservations using the G-SAVE be cancellable? Still haven’t decided for sure and it may depend on connections I can find from PDX….but for now I’d like to book a room at least.
Elaine says
OK, it is working now. The trick is to put the promo code in the group rate box.
Marathon man says
Direct MS
When you pay too much for miles you feel down.
When you feel down you stay in bed.
When you stay in bed you forget to log into FT and find new miles deals.
When you forget to find new miles deals, someone else blogs about them and you also lose your job as a blogger because you get less hits. Then they give your blog job to someone new.
When they give your blog job to someone new, he has a lot to learn.
When he has a lot to learn, mistakes are made and he gives up all the good deals in his blog.
And when mistakes are made and he gives up all the good deals in his blog, you get shut down bodily by an 800 pound gorilla like Citi, Amex or Chase.
Don’t get shut down by gorillas like Citi, Amex or Chase.
Get rid of none points earning CCs and get into Direct MS.
MarkD says
Classic! Love the DirecTV commercial reference.
I’ve got to find a way to be there…never been to CLT or a “DO” before.
Matt says
Yep- I’m with you on all that- loved the comment, never been to CLT and never been to a DO. We have big plans to make this a fantastic way to start, hope you can make it!
Giddy for Points says
And awesome!
Marathon man says
Ken from Mileage Update and I will be driving in to CLT on Fri night at like 6-7pm and wish to beer up and talk of many MS things with people that night. Then Sat be the events… And we leave Sat night. I fly out at like 8 CLT-BOS cuz mom and me wife want me home for Mother’s Day. I’ll sit with them and sip tea and stir it with a used GC. 😀
Anyway…
Glad ya’ll like the MS spoofs. Here is my latest, from the Disney movie, Frozen:
The snow glows white at the Walmart tonight
Not a footprint to be seen
A kingdom of money orders,
And it looks like I need 17.
The printer is howling like this swirling storm of paper inside
Couldn’t keep my ST card in my wallet, heaven knows I tried
Don’t let them MS, don’t let them swipe or see
Be the good clerk you always have to be
Conceal the deal don’t let them bloggers know
Well, now they know
Let it go, let it go
Can’t hold it back the promo anymore
Let it go, let it go
Turn away and slam this MS door
I don’t care
What they’re going to say
Let the blog war rage on,
An FR never bothered me anyway
It’s funny how driving some distance for this stuff
Makes every MS trip seem small
And the fears of local clerks who deny things that once controlled me
Can’t get to me at all
It’s time to see what I can do
To test the limits of my TYP card and break through
No right, no wrong, no GC PIN rules for me
I’m free
Let it go, let it go
I am one with the wind and sky
Let it go, let it go
You’ll never see my deal die
Here I stand swiping away
And here at this CS desk I’ll stay
Let the storm of cash only stores rage on….
JustSaying says
BTW next “new” Centurian Club is in SFO with not too shabby surroundings to enjoy yourself “after” the meetup……..@Marathon Man: You are definitely in a jet stream dimension…….thanks for the poetry!
Marathon man says
Lol i am in a jet stream but actually feeling like it’s all lunar ms…
Yes… When I hit my high mark in TYP spend in one month, I got out of my capsule and said,
That’s one more small stop for gcs
And one giant step for ms kind.
Amol (@PointsToPointB) says
I think I’ll come on Friday evening instead and leave early Sunday morning to be back in LA by noon. This comment changed my plans 😛
marathon man says
I would have liked to stay longer but it’s mother’s day so have to be home Sunday myself.
JustSaying says
I just signed up for a Napa Turley vineyard tour that day and to check out the Napa Andaz but I will be there in spirit as I have followed this competition with great awe for the contestants. For other fellow West Coast followers of this event I believe we need to replicate a version of this in San Francisco/Marin subject to the availability of Frequent Miler, Saverocity, the winner et al sometime this summer/fall…………..indicate your interest in one of these blog’s comments……….
Matt says
Well, that sounds almost as good! Napa wine is a favorite. I hope that we can make it out West at a better time for you soon!
David G says
Ugh, this lineup of presenters is legit — kind of like FTU before it became it rehash of past events. I wish I could make it, but I think I’ll have to wait until the next event.
jpgisbd says
Wish I could make this. Mom (lives outside CLT) would appreciate the visit on Mother’s Day weekend but don’t know if she would appreciate me telling her I couldn’t hang out with her on Sat. Another vote for a West Coast Do in the future. Another Oregonian here and enjoy any excuse to get to Napa…but some really good wineries here in Oregon, too. Just don’t tell anyone…
Matt says
I’d love to meet you at one of these, and if it happens to be near a place that happens to produce a good Pinot then that’s a bonus!
jpgisbd says
Agreed! I might know of a place or two…if you are ever out this way…
William says
I just came across your blog around the time ‘mile madness’ begun and I must say I enjoy all that I’ve read and gleamed from yours and the other participants insight. I’ve been to a couple ‘DO’s before but never based around MS. As a THIRD Oregonian on this post alone I’d also like to suggest having a DO out west! Thank you again for all the useful information you’ve provided so far!
Brandon says
This event sounds great. Always good to get extra tips and tricks. So sorry I can’t make it. You should video the talks and sell them on this site. I’d gladly pay $75 for the talks.
Elaine says
I had the same thought but I imagine the presenters might prefer not to go on the record that way.
Matt says
Yes, this event isn’t about making money, it is about building relationships, Which are best done in person. The fee of $65/$75 for tickets is all assigned to costs for the meeting space rental and F&B.
We are hoping for a reasonably intimate number of people, so that we can be candid with our conversations, which makes recording of them less of a goal.
TravelBloggerBuzz says
Darn, I thought it all went to charity 🙂
Matt says
Some of it could, if we charged double 🙂
ABC says
A DO without the usual top CC bloggers such as the TPG, OMAAT, FTG, VFTW! I may actually consider losing my DO virginity.
Matt says
We would gladly have you there. Our vision is to mingle the bloggers with the readers so people can have conversations and share ideas, and really get to know one another without pomp and circumstance.
MilesAbound says
I plan on showing up in leathers and dark shades very Bono circa ZooTV tours and give out autographs to anyone that begs
MarkD says
I nominate the next article topic for Saverocity…
How to convince the wifey to spend Mother’s Day in beautiful Charlotte, NC inside at an MS blogger conference! It will be next to impossible to make the trek alone during that weekend. :^(
Does the Hyatt have a spa???
Matt says
Ha, it is the perfect excuse to escape from the mother in law 🙂 There is no spa, but there are lots of fun things to do, a post will come.
Elaine says
Why is it that “wifey” always sounds so demeaning to me? Is it just normal slang for Brits? Please say yes.
This “wifey” is about to tell her “hubby” (I hate that too!) and kiddos that she wants a trip to Charlotte for Mother’s Day this year.
Matt says
It’s probably a little demeaning, but I say it lovingly… if that makes any sense. And yes, I will blame everything on the Brits and therefore am completely exonerated.
Hope you can make it!
MarkD says
Elaine – sorry it was not meant as demeaning. It’s definitely a term of affection…
For the record I’m not a Brit – I’m a left-coaster also from Sacramento. Another vote for the West. That next #milemadness DO in Napa is a slam-dunk BTW.
Unfortunately my wife is not as enthusiastic about MS as you are. She reluctantly plays along in the miles and points world as long as I manage her cards and accounts. She gives me the “look” (haha) every time I give her a new credit card. I mentioned a road trip for Mother’s Day last night but she wasn’t so thrilled. I’ll have to keep working on her, but it is not looking good at this point. Hard to blame her really. Any other weekend and I’m there for sure – maybe both of us – but right now it is very tentative.
Elaine says
No problem. I do get that it can be said lovingly but I don’t think it always is….Your “wifey” sounds like my “hubby.” He is alternately amused, bemused, and confused by my new hobby, and the cards that shuttle in and out of his wallet. While I think he is also proud of the points I am accumulating, he also teases me and makes jokes about it all the time. But in a very loving way, of course 😉 .
Actually I could skip Mom’s Day altogether. I have too many bad memories of being sandwiched between what seemed best that day for my mom and what I knew was not best for my small kids. Hint: A fancy Mothers Day brunch does not end up fun with a toddler or two in tow!
Beach Miles says
I’m in. Just got to tell mom.
Matt says
Fantastic! Look forward to seeing you there, and bring her along 🙂
Amol (@PointsToPointB) says
I’ll come along – is there nothing going on Friday night? I’m thinking of catching a US Airways redeye from LAX to CLT on Friday night, should be in CLT on Saturday morning. What about Sunday plans – when should I plan to leave?
For any SPG people, there’s an Aloft across the street that has reasonable prices (prepaid, but there are ways around that ….)
Matt says
Fantastic! I’m really looking forward to meeting you there. I think plans for both Friday and Sunday will firm up this week, it looks like The Miles Professor and I will come down on Friday after work, so perhaps a late drink in the bar might be all we can join, but we will get people together regarding more things to do.
Haven’t set flights myself yet, so things are a bit open still on the Sunday.
Jamie says
I would LOVE to attend. Might be able to make it work. What a great idea!
Matt says
I hope you can make it, we’d love to meet you!
MWL says
I’ll come…if someone can clue me in on getting there as a stopover b/t LAX-AMS on a low level award (preferably AA off peak)!
Matt says
It would be a legit stopover, but finding the onward ticket to AMS might take a little phone work.=, you could certainly do a one way AA 20K in coach including the time in CLT.
Elaine says
Well, I am realizing that I am probably better at earning than at burning.
Let me run this by a few more experienced eyes, if y’all don’t mind. See, I am already practicing my southern drawl (which for this NYer who now lives in the PNW is no small feat):
So Charlotte is a USAir hub, at least as of today, and I have USAir miles. But the best fares I could find for those days is 20,000 points each way. In theory one could do it at a Coach Low fare for 12,500 but that fare is not available on May 8 or 9, or on May 11. The Bus/First Low fare is also unavailable and I am not blowing 40,000 miles to fly domestic Bus/First one way!
I also have AA miles, and Charlotte is on the list of reduced AA cities for May. To book that fare, there must be MileSAAver seats. There are no Saver seats in Coach on Friday May 9 but there are Saver seats in Bus/First, which, if I understand it correctly, would allow me to book a oneway for 21,250 miles.
Avios are no help to me – PDX is too far from CLT. I have lots of UR points but did not look at United, et. al. since CLT is a US hub; it seemed easiest to start with AA and US.
So it looks like flying to CLT in Bus/First on AA reduced fare for 21,250, with time to check a lounge or two in Dallas, and a non-stop return in Coach on USAir on Sunday to PDX for 20,000 is probably the best way to do this.
In addition to UR points, I do have points on United, Delta and Alaska. Is it worth checking any of them?
Hmm, as I write this, I am realizing that maybe I should check Alaska to see how many miles it might run on their partners….I originally ruled out Alaska because it doesn’t fly to CLT. But if I remember some info I saw on HackMyTrip or maybe Milenomics, sometimes you can get good award deals using Alaska miles esp. to Hawaii from the west coast. OK, I will look at Alaska too.
Meanwhile, I seem to be making great strides toward coming. Any advice/suggestions/corrections on how best to do it are most welcome!
Elaine says
OK, looks like unless I want to spend 32,500 for F with one stop or 12,500 for coach with 2 stops, I should avoid the Alaska option. I don’t think I want to do either.
FYI, I have just looked on the airline websites for AA, US and now Alaska. Didn’t try ExpertFlyer or anything else. Should I?
Thanks for any info you may have to share!
Matt says
Hey Elaine,
One thing I am watching is when US join OneWorld on March 31st as a celebration of the end of Milemadness it may be possible to book that Us flight using Avios too… not sure when that reciprocity will go live though.
KennyB says
Southwest via MDW is 18K-24K RT depending on whether you want to leave Sunday early morning or mid afternoon.
Stew clark says
Just signed up and I am coming in from STL early SAt morning…
if anyone will be at the airport in the am let’s meet and share a cab to the Hyatt!
Pixie Points says
I’ll be there! Just booked my ticket. Can’t wait!
Happy Mother’s Day to me 🙂 My kids were the ones who encouraged me to go – they know how much I love this.
Matt says
Fantastic! Very much looking forward to meeting you there, cheers Matt
Elaine says
Hi Pixie Points,
Nice to know I won’t be the only mom there! And BTW I love thrift stores too!
Pixie Points says
Matt and Elaine – Yay!
TravelBloggerBuzz says
I bought my ticket to the event!
I need to make arrangements. Need details on when to get in and out.
I am coming to meet Marathon Man, the man, the legend, the…
Elena G says
Hey TBB! Will be good to see ya again and catch up!
Elaine says
Happy Mother’s Day to me too! I’m in (and Matt, it was decided before TBB said he was coming 😉 !).
Got the event ticket booked, the hotel booked and a few itineraries on hold. (Thanks KennyB for your SW suggestion and Matt for yours re: Avios.) Looks like I do have a lot to learn re: burning; that is, USAir still charges R/T for one way awards, and the AA reduced cities tix must be on AA only. Perhaps future trips will be different as the airlines complete their merger. In the end the best way was USAir in Coach. Good enough. I arrive in CLT Friday night at 9:53PM and would be happy to share a cab with others who might be arriving around then.
See all y’all in Charlotte!
Matt says
Great! Can’t wait to meet you there!
Giddy for Points says
Ok officially in! Flights booked on good ole SW….direct from IAH. This is going to be quite the DO! (doing the giddy dance!)
KennyB says
Don’t forget to go to the correct airport!
aegt says
Signed up. Taking the red eye flight from LAX.
AlohaDaveKennedy says
Have spent my hard earned $5 booking a flight to this event (using 15,000 Avios). This ol’ auditor better get my money’s worth!
Matt says
I mention you were coming and doubled the ticket price.
AlohaDaveKennedy says
What? Nobody told me about a ticket – I was planning to crash the party unexpected and hand out financial reviews as party favors.
Matt says
I got you covered
Bob says
For you airplane “nuts”, the Carolinas Aviation Museum is located near the Charlotte airport. M-F 10 AM-4 PM, Sat. 10 AM-5 PM, and Sun. 1-5 PM. $12.00 +tax. You will see a variety of military aircraft, older commercial planes and the real and nearly intact “Miracle on the Hudson” Airbus A 320-214. The US Air flight that crash “water landed” in the Hudson river in Jan.2009. Plus an excellent film outlining the flight and the rapid decisions made to land in the Hudson and the rescue operations. If you have a rental car, the museum is on the way back to the airport from uptown. Of course looking at a plane that crash landed may not be your cup of tea prior to catching a flight.

Apparently he was too embarrassed to face us and admit he only carries the Disney card in his wallet and prefers cash so he came up with this pathetic excuse!
Take it away Marathon Man!
JustSaying says
And they also shut down his Serve account as he tried to load it with his wife’s prepaid VISA and the judge was royally pissed by that stupidity………..
Matt says
Hey Matt,
Is the event also open to rookies who just follow blogs and want to learn more. I’m actually located in CLT and follow 8-10 blogs. I intently follow everyone’s footsteps and think it would be a great learning experience to enhance what I’m already doing. Sounds like everyone already knows each other so didn’t want to crash the party!
Matt
Matt says
Hey Matt,
This event is certainly rookie friendly, please come along
Dave says
Looking at coming to the event. Is the plan or everything to be on Saturday or some things on Sunday too? Trying to figure out what to plan for the family! Looking forward to learning the tricks!
Matt says
At the moment it is just Saturday but lots of folk are asking about Sunday, I’ll write a post on this early next week to see if we can establish interest in that.
PC says
I have Hyatt points. If anyone wants to share a room, let me know soon. Contact me at
pcook.reinvented@gmail.com
Marathon man says
People: PC is the guy who started the Citi petition that may have played a significant role in both getting TYP to stop last May’s witch hunt as well as assisting with peoples’ ability to get money back for their confiscated TYP points! I think if someone is on the fence about attending and wants to save on costs by having a roomie, sharing with him would be a good choice.
Just sayin
Elaine says
Wasn’t planning on sharing but helpful to know it’s a him 😉 !!
midnightinharlem says
Charlotte local within walking distance (I run by the Hyatt 2-3x/week), but not a big player in the miles/travel space. Bought a ticket and looking forward to meeting y’all.
Matt says
Look forward to meeting you there!
Barb says
Psyched to be attending. Husband and daughter set to go to US National Whitewater Center which looks awesome. Timing couldn’t be better considering the demise of VR.
Matt says
Looking forward to seeing you there!
The Other Carl says
A bit late to the party, but I was waiting to be able to use Avios for my US flight. I’ll arrive in CLT at 10:24 Sat. morning and got the last seat back to Chicago on the last flight out Sat. night. Looking forward to meeting you, Matt and all the others!
Matt says
Good to hear! See you there
Duffman says
Bought tickets. Matt, look forward to meeting you and learning/sharing trip and tricks of our trade!
Matt says
Nice- looking forward to seeing you there!
Robert says
I heard about the Mile Madness event recently and was excited to hear about a miles event in my hometown. just signed up – looking forward to it.
Matt says
Good to hear, look forward to seeing you there!
Marathon man says
Now here is a nice challenge:
Can anybody tell me what the history is of why a DO is called a DO?
I have heard the story… Now who else knows?
Matt says
Do I have an advantage as a Brit?
Marathon man says
Brits always have the advantage in my book cuz they sound more hip or sophisticated depending on accent lol
Matt says
That’s true, it got me far, other than my first visit to Texas where they couldn’t understand a word I said…
Elaine says
Here’s what Catman wrote on FT:
“What’s a Flyertalk DO?
Some people have been asking what a “DO” is?
While I may not have the purrfect answer, I’m going to try (and go ahead and move to the appropriate catagory
A Flyertalk gathering is when at least two and probalby no more than a dozen flyertalkers get together anywhere, from an airline club to a restaurant.
Example: Catman is flying through LA, and he calls his buddies PremEx and Newself and Mr. Limo for beers at the president’s Club. Koko happens to see Catman and joins in the fun and razzes geo1004 over the cell phone for not showing up.
A DO is one step up from a gathering. it’s where more than a dozen people get together centered around some event or city or restaurant. It has at least one big dinner with IF TIME PERMITS — Thank you MASHAV for the clarification a number of smaller events which could be everything from brunches and tours to even bar crawling
DOS are harder to organize than gatherings because there’s money to be colelcted, restaurants to review, handing several dozen people.
For example: the ORD event in May, 2002 is definitely a DO becuase it’s centereed around something: going to Chicago. It has at least 12 people going. Let’s say ORD can be considered a “MEGA” DO (when 50 or more peopel show for the event.)
The PIPS can be called DOS. Missy’s SEA party is a do. So is Portland and YYZ in July, 2002.
The word “DO” I believe was coined in 1999 when I put together the very first gathering of friends in NYC. I called it “The catman DO ” Two more followed, and the Catman Do 3, March 2001 holds the record for MOST FLYERTALKERS IN ONE SETTING — 82 AT DINNER AND several others meeting up during that weekend.
SO in sum:
Gathering: 2-12 flyertalkers for a small event like dinner or drinks.
DO: 12 or more people meeting at one central place like a restaurant, with other events during the period of the DO.
FYI: OMNI is to title a post that can be considered totally off topic for a particular thread.
(Copyrighted: 2002, CMS, INC)
This message has been readjusted after my friend MASHAV made some good points about what a DO IS. Thanks!

PS – Depending on the number of attendees, Charlotte just might a MEGA DO 😉 !

We are actually about to cap it- too much interest and want to keep it friendly
Marathon man says
Elaine nails it!
And yes, the clt is a mega Deaux
Lol

Going anywhere from TVC is always a challenge and pricey. I just pieced together some flights.(I can’t make myself pay $500 for this short distance when I’m used to paying $500 for MR’s for 15-20k miles!) Maybe I should get a prize for the best flight combo- here’s what I did… I used cash with hidden city for 1 leg, Avios for another, and a UA saver award for the return. Now….for the hotel…I’m not a Hyatt person and not keen on burning UR for a room so I’m looking at alternatives close by. Thanks for posting the map w/hotels.
The amazing race sounds fun… MM, I think we had a dry run at FTU when we ran to WM.
I love small DO’s so looking forward to this one!

Lets do more wmt if time allows! Lol
Look back in this thread–a bloke I know is staying at I think the Marriott and says he could use a roommate. If you wanna get in touch, lemme know or find him –hes Paul–here in this comments section.

I’m in on the WM runs~ wondering if Paul wants to room with a points princess… I don’t hog the bathroom too much in the am.

Is there anyone with a possible transferable ticket?
Mrs338 says
Dies anyone have another ticket they’d like to sell? I live in Charlotte and am interested in attending. I follow the blogs and am a frequesnt traveler, but haven’t used many points other than hotel points… Hoping to meet everyone next month!
Cheryl says
Hi, I am also looking for a ticket. If anyone needs to cancel, I would appreciate the opportunity to buy your ticket. Thank you!
Matt says
Hi Cheryl, I’ll put you on the standby list and let you know if anything changes

Matt – Could you also put me on a waitlist too?
Matt says
Certainly will
David says
Matt,
I’m a local in CLT and would like to get on your waitlist as well…
Please let me know if there are any tickets available, I only need one!
Thanks!
David
Matt says
Folks, we have one ticket open up, I will be contacting everyone on my list today, if there are any other interested parties let me know and I’ll go top down asking if anyone wants it, will be a first in first refusal method.
