Clearly, this topic isn’t covered enough since my feed is overwhelmed with people tweeting for free crap via #hashtag promotions. Amex Sync is likely the overall winner in most annoying, but @Clubcarlson does a fine job of giving away points every now and then that encourage people to beg for them at least 5-10 times per day.
- To set up a second twitter account you need to follow these steps very carefully.
- Go to twitter.com
- Set up a new account. Note you cannot use the same name as your old account, because they have some algorithms to prevent that.
- Do not follow me on twitter.
- Tweet to your hearts content.
Please, let’s keep your primary twitter account for bickering and trolling only, per the terms and conditions of twitter.

Mea culpa. I did set up Twitter accounts for Amex syncs but tweeting to Club Carlson is just so easy and tempting when I am on my main Twitter account anyway. Good thing Club Carlson only does it once a year 😉 !
This is hilarious. I just couldn’t handle the shame of my friends seeing me posting on Facebook and twitter about some ridiculous deal (or great deal as it may be). So, I do have a second twitter account, but since I hardly ever even use the main one, I really don’t use the “deals only” one. Oh well, there’s 1000 carlson points I missed out on.
