Discount Gift Cards for Thanksgiving- Sheetz, Chevron, AMC Movies and Hyatt- and a Warning

Just added! Target $200 for $185 only 2,000 left!

I saw two discount gift cards on eBay today that are useful if you’re road tripping for Thanksgiving:

Sheetz $30 for $25
Chevron $100 Gift Card for $95

Others that could be useful include AMC Theatres and Hyatt. The warning- if you get Hyatt gift cards (or have some lying around) keep an eye on the balance.  Hyatt’s gift card database was recently hacked and I had to have over $2300 of gift cards re-issued.  Hyatt did so without delay, but I was caught out during a stay where I wanted to use it.

Don’t forget that you also get 2% back in the form of eBay bucks, and that you can enter eBay through Ebates for an additional 1%.

I mentioned that Black Friday holds no appeal for me but if you’re going out, other good sources for discount gift cards include:

Cardpool is great as they’re currently offering new customers $5 in credit off their first purchase (no min, so look for something small and you’ll clean up!). TopCashBack offers cash back on Cardpool.

Raise is another good source- use promo code RAISE75AF if you’re new to Raise for $5 off your first purchase of $75 or more. Raise is also on TopCashBack.

Dia, thank you so much for the info on the Hyatt GCs! I had no idea and just checked mine. Sure enough one of them for $110 was indeed hacked. The first rep at Hyatt was no help, but the next one was fantastic and took down my info for their investigation. I never would have known about this as the FT thread is not getting much action. I would have tried to use my GC at some point in the future and with my memory….probably have thought I used it at some point. 😮
