One Way Car Rental Season! Get Out of Florida for $10/Day up to Fullsize

Alamo Rent A Car - Rental Car Deals, Cheap Last Minute Specials

I’m still behind on Spring Break planning and my stalling pays off: It’s one way car season!

Drive Out of Florida for only $9.95/day when you rent with Alamo Rent a Car. Book now!

Best of all, you can rent any car up to a full-size for the same rate AND keep the car for three weeks, making it cheaper than many car payments! This can make for a super-cheap getaway when you combine it a one-way award or Frontier ticket to Florida. I’m brainstorming ways to MacGyver up a “Camp Mom” Spring Break out of this deal: Stay Tuned. Dates are wide open in April and May. Hertz has a similar deal but Alamo’s is better as it starts April 1, while Hertz’s starts after Easter.   You need to be part of the free “insiders” program to see the Alamo deal. I’ve heard from a reader that National does something similar.

Hertz also has drive out of Arizona, but the prices don’t look nearly as good.

Deal Dad and I took advantage of a similar offer from offer a few years ago to attend a wedding on St. Simons Island, Georgia. We flew into Jacksonville, drove to the wedding, and then home. The car cost so little that we ended up keeping it two weeks as it was cheaper than driving our own cars!

UseEbates for cash back.

If you’re flying down there again, I’d recommend stops in St. Augustine and Jekyll Island if you’ve never been to either one before. (And there’s a category 2 Hilton about 30 mins from St. Augustine.)

Hey, just checked ZE and it’s there for FL, too. Which would be great for me as I am Pres Circle and I think I have a no rental restriction with ET and if they have shared rental system with AL, I might be turned down. Thanks for the info! 🙂

Our family did this twice last year, thanks to your tip. The first was a rental from FLL to MCO. I was so surprised that I got the deal on such a short hop but was told that it counts as long as I was headed north. Then we did another one-way rental MCO-CLT. It is a great deal! Thanks.

I have one right now stacked with 3dail deal vouchers giving me a 3 week rental for under $70. Add the cost of vouchers and its $ $145 for three weeks and about 4000 miles….
BTW my daily rate is 7.95.

Great deal, Johhnie. I have one for $8 as well, they must have not gotten enough movement at $10.
