2 Hyatt Place Hotels that Stand Above the Rest

Two of my favorite views, both thanks to Hyatt Place.

Two of my favorite views, both thanks to Hyatt Place.

Kathy at Will Run for Miles had a funny post recently about deja vu at Hyatt Place hotels. I totally agree about the interiors, but wanted to give a shout out to 2 properties that literally stand above the rest in terms of view and value.

Both being Hyatt Places, the rooms are HUGE by downtown city standards and both offer free breakfast. Both can also be real values on points: the New York property is a Category 5 at 20K a night and the Seattle one is a dirt-cheap (for downtown) Category 3 at 12K. Hyatt is a Chase Ultimate Rewards transfer partner.

But the best part of all is above: the views! Both of those photos were taken by me, from my room, with no zoom or edits.

Are there any Hyatt Place views you would like to add? Please share in the comments.

HP NYC was just ok, room we got was very small by HP standards, average by NYC standards. Additionally not very many rooms are afforded the Empire State view.

There’s a brand new Hyatt house at Seattle Center that’s literally across the street from the space needle. Better views, bigger newer rooms with full kitchens, free breakfast with omelette chef for the same 12k points.

The Hyatt place in Seattle does have a free shuttle to anywhere you want to go within a mile of the hotel.
