Like many, I jumped on the cat call for the Barclay’s US Airways card — twice in fact, the last one, being the final day it was available (in fact, I just got my last bonus today). The AviatorRed card isn’t the the most rewarding; category bonuses are fairly consistent with the Citi Aadvantage cards, but what is different, is that Barclay’s is offering a 50% bonus.

Granted its only 1.5x, but, as Barclay’s shows, it could add up — probably not to the levels that most of us are looking for.

To sum things up – you’re limited to 10,000 miles (which means about $20,000 spend), the other notes are minor.
