On the recent Saverocity Observation Deck Podcast — Festivus Episode, I erred. I stated that I was not aware of a single Boeing with an onboard shower. Now, I won’t deny, I was blinded by things like the Emirates A380 Shower Spa, including my extended experience in that shower spa. Of course, there’s the Etihad shower as well.
Now don’t get me wrong. I think we all would agree that no commercial Boeing aircraft flying with a shower available to passengers.
Joe Cheung, of As the Joe Flies did call me out on the fact that Air Force One has a shower, and he’s right! There’s a video there, check to about 2:12 to see the actual shower.
Upon further research, it looks like there are other Boeing Business Jets that have showers, including a 757 with the callsign Tyson 1.
Personally, I hope to see Emirates figure out a logical way to add a shower to one of their new 777X. Though I kind’ve doubt it, but it would be cool to see a commercially flown Boeing with an onboard shower.
