I referred a friend to the Amex Hilton Aspire card back in March 2018. The 25k bonus points showed as earned in my card’s April statement, but it never posted to my Hilton account. I contacted Amex and Hilton numerous times, and Hilton opened an inquiry, but the points never came. About a weeks ago I asked Hilton again what in God’s name is taking so long. They claimed Amex had an issue with April statements. A few days later, the points posted. Finally.
If yours is one of those that got held up, check your Hilton account. Hopefully it made it. If not, go yell at Amex.
p.s. pretty sure this is my favorite card of 2018 so far. I already got $500 of statement credits (without any spend in the end) and expect to get at least another $250 (if not $500) in 2019. Plus one free weekend night. Plus 100k bonus. And Diamond status. All for one $450 annual fee.

Congrats. I added 3 of my kids aa AU’s on my Amex personal Plat last August during a promotion. Only got 5k of the 15k points I was owed despite many inquiries. They finally sent me a check last month for $100 in lieu of 10k points. Called them saying I’d rather have the points. No dice.
