This is just a quick note that the Plaza Premium Arrival Lounge in Hong Kong International Airport Terminal 2 is now part of Priority Pass. That wasn’t always the case – I know because I tried to enter a few years ago (and couldn’t). It’s conveniently located for arrival – just below the Octopus Card service desk and where the Airport Express train departs.
If you need food or shower before going into town and lack access to the Cathay Pacific Arrival Lounge, now you have this option. Food selection was decent. The baked fish tasted good for lounge food.
In my case, I had an early breakfast followed by a few hours on an ultra low cost carrier so needed to replenish some calories before taking the 1+ hour bus to Tsim Sha Tsui. Priority Pass to the rescue.
Even if you have access to CX arrival lounge, the Priority Pass lounge is nearby and has more showers available.
Interesting. CX arrival had plenty of shower (8-10?) a few years ago.
