East Coast to London, Reykhavik, Copenhagen, $200 – $300 on WOW Air

No, this is not a joke. WOW Air is a real thing.

Icelandic low-cost carrier WOW Air is offering some incredible fares from the Eastern seaboard to various European destinations between March and May of next year.

For more details, head on over to their website at wowair.us.

For example, you can fly from Boston to Copenhagen, one of my favorite places on the planet, for under $300 round-trip next April:

They have fairly regular departures from the United States (Boston and Washington, D.C.) starting in March of 2015 and fly to Reykhavik (Iceland), London, Copenhagen, and more. Play around with the dates and plan your European vacation for next year.

But just a heads up, when I call WOW Air a “low-cost carrier,” I mean along the lines of Spirit here in the United States. Expect to pay extra fees for checked luggage ($67 per bag), assigned seating ($3), and meals. It looks like carry-ons under 5kg (11 pounds) are free though, so this is a great deal for the last-minute adventurers out there.

Warning: Their site is extremely buggy. It might take a few tries to actually make a booking.
