Use Miles for EK Upgrade or Pass?

I'm on a 4 hour flight in economy from BEY-DXB. Is it worth 39000 points for my wife and me to upgrade? I NOW! It depends on what we think it's worth. I have points that I can transfer to EK but it's only four hours and their economy isn't so terrible. I like the checkin and priority baggage but I won't use extra allowance because we are already in BEY.

Still.....it gets addictive to be in lounge etc.

I wish we could delete posts. I answered my own question. I don't know what I can do with 39000 AX rewards but it's goatta be better than wasting them on a 3.75 hour flight on a top carrier on a flight that will likely not be full and where we are sleeping in the city from which we leave.
