Travel Pillow Questions (Gear Talk)

So I would like to buy myself a decent travel pillow, and as I have some travel plans in Y (*the horror*!) I would like to spend some time researching people's preferences.

Traditional U-shaped pillows never seem to work for me, because they are too big at the back, tilt my head forward, and there is nothing there to support my chin.

I came across the J-Pillow and the Trtl Pillow , and was wondering if anybody has any experiences with these alternatives? Or with any other pillows you might recommend?

lol - I am at an age now where I am not sure anything can stop me from drooling in my sleep

Consider bringing a decent travel blanket instead. It can be rolled up how you want and contoured to the seat. You can keep a second one for use as an actual blanket too.

I use a travel pillow that is ribbed across the back. The sides inflate, stablizing my head, but not the back. This folds up very flat so is easy to stick in my case.

Both of my kids have inflatable travel pillows (IKEA) because they wanted to be like Dad. I'm a minimalist and don't want to bring anything extra, but that J-Pillow is intriguing.
