Taxes and fees booking with UR

Getting ready to book a resort through my wife's CSR. Before confirming the booking, it lists the price, the taxes and fees, total (all in dollars) then the points required. Seems normal.

But it also says "Other local taxes and resort fees may be collected directly by the hotel."

Anyone have any experience with this? Are we going to get charged extra after arriving?

I think that's standard language. But there is always a chance they charge an additional "resort fee". What brand of hotel?

Bahia Principe. It's an all inclusive so I wouldn't think they would charge an additional resort fee. But your probably right. Likely standard boilerplate CYA language.

I've never been charged extra fees or taxes for a UR hotel stay, but as you say, that doesn't mean it couldn't happen somewhere.
