My wife and I are looking at a short trip to Sedona AZ in early June. Anyone have a good hotel recommendation? Not looking for anything fancy but we also don't want a budget hotel either. Right now I'm considering the Sedona Rouge, Hampton Inn, and possibly generating points for the Hilton Bell Rock resort.
What I'm really interested in though is the Hyatt Pinon Point Vacations Club. Studios are only 12,000 points but right now but after a call to HGP there is no award space. I read on another blog that a lot of times availability on points stays at the vacation club properties doesn't open up until 60 to 90 days out. Curious if anyone else has tips on this.
The last option I'm kicking around is staying in Flagstaff. Nice hotels that are very inexpensive, and just a short drive in.
