Saturday Special: Hyatt Capital Gate, Abu Dhabi

Besides, it was a new hotel for us.</p><p></p><p><strong>Lobby and Check-in/Check-out Experience</strong></p><p></p><p>Not much unlike the <a href="http://saverocity.com/taggingmiles/saturday-special-park-hyatt-tokyo-hotel-review/">Park Hyatt Toyko</a>, in that you have to take a elevator to the lobby to check in. Unlike most Hyatts, check-in for elites is in the lobby. It went smoothly though I think that might have been due to the fact my wife was very distracted by the Arabic coffee and dates set out in the lobby. Plus they were able to verify our transfer back to the Airport with Etihad as we did not have a working cellphone.</p><p></p><p><a href="http://saverocity.com/taggingmiles/wp-content/uploads/sites/16/2014/09/Dates-and-Arabic-coffee.jpg"><img src="http://saverocity.com/taggingmiles/wp-content/uploads/sites/16/2014/09/Dates-and-Arabic-coffee-300x300.jpg" data-url="http://saverocity.com/taggingmiles/wp-content/uploads/sites/16/2014/09/Dates-and-Arabic-coffee-300x300.jpg" class="bbImage " style="" alt="" title="" /></a></p><p>Arabic Coffee and Date Table</p><p></p><p></p><p>Check out was a breeze, and the Etihad car was waiting for us by the time we made it to the lobby.</p><p></p><p><strong>Where the hotel stood out</strong></p><p></p><p>This is a good city hotel. They had comfortable seating by the lobby bar where they offered drinks and some light food. I have to say that the suite was very nice and pretty substantial. Even though we were on a low floor right above the pool so we kept the shades closed. It has a great view. They had a wide variety of options. Other wise it was a more than sufficient for a single night at the hotel.</p><p></p><p><strong>Wrapping Up</strong></p><p></p><p>We’re due back in the United Arab Emirates later in the year. I’m not sure that I’d stay at the Hyatt Capital Gate if I wanted to see Abu Dhabi, because I felt as if it was kind’ve far out of the city.
