Question: Free Checked Bag for AU?

I have the Citi AA Platinum and my wife has the AU card. I booked a domestic ticket with BA Avios from PHX to SEA for my wife only. The reward flights are on US airway/AA flights. Is it possible for my wife to get the free checked bag benefit? If so, how do I do it?

Only if she is on the same PNR as you. If she travels without you, then no benefit.
