I've been accumulating miles and points for almost a year now, but I've heretofore only redeemed them for 2cpp domestic, economy flights. I'm much more experienced at earning them than I am at maximizing their redemption.
My fiancee and I are looking to join my family in Milan in mid-May for about a week and a half to 2 weeks. Dates are a bit flexible on either, but looking around 5/10/2018 - 5/24/2018.
I'd really like to treat myself and my fiancee to a flight unlike any we've ever experienced (1st class or business class). I'm a tall, big guy so long haul economy flights tend to be...uncomfortable. It'd be great to have some space and not dread the flying experience.
I have the following balances: 300k URs (between my fiancee's account and mine), 170k MRs, 54k Starpoints. I also have a CSR and AmEx Biz Plat. My Biz Plat still offers 50% airfare rebate until some time in May.
Looking for tips on how to search for a great flight deal and maximize my points!
