Anyone try having the Hyatt site upgrade mlife status? I did it a few months ago for Hyatt platinum to mlife gold but now it won't do a further upgrade now that I have Hyatt diamond

Mlife status resets every October 1st. Guessing you submitted after online? I'm sure another change might require a call to Mlife.
